This is the new blog from REvolution Computing, dedicated to news and information of interest to members of the R community. We'll focus mainly on news directly about R: announcements about new releases and packages, tips for beginners and experts, distillations of interesting discussions on r-help, announcements of upcoming events, that kind of thing. We'll also include news from REvolution Computing and interesting news from the open-source community generally.
We hope that over time this blog will become a useful repository of information about R, and so we've created a number of categories to tag posts with. That way, you can browse the archives for a particular topic of interest. You can find information about the categories at the
About Categories link in the right column.
This blog is written by members of staff at REvolution computing. More information about the authors is available at the
About the Authors page. You can contact the authors at any time via the email addresses on that page, or by contributing to the comments of specific posts.
Please enjoy this blog. We've created this blog for the R community, so if you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know in the comments below. (But please follow the
comments policy. Thanks!)
