REvolution R, the high-performance distribution of R from REvolution Computing, is now available for download for Windows and MacOS X systems from the REvolution Computing website. (The software has actually been available for a little while, but has only been formally announced in a press release today.)
REvolution R is an optimized distribution of R designed for use in commercial settings. REvolution R is built with high-performance compilers and linked with computational libraries that take advantage of multiple processors simultaneously to reduce the time to complete many common mathematical operations. You do not need to modify your code to benefit from these optimizations.

REvolution R is available to everyone to download at no charge. REvolution Computing also offers technical support subscriptions for REvolution R Enterprise. REvolution R Enterprise is available on additional platforms including Linux and (soon) 64-bit Windows systems, and includes the ParallelR module distributed and parallel computing on multi-core workstations and clusters.
