I don't think I like the badge much. The word "free" on the internet has sketchy connotations, and "data analysis software" sounds too user friendly. If didn't know what R was, I'd think you were trying to get me to download the shareware version of some shitty alternative to Excel.

I don't think you're doing the R community any favors by trying to expand it to include the type of person that would click on that badge. Not that you'll be all that successful targeting the junior college business degree crowd. R is a pain to learn. If someone has to be enticed to use R with 1-click downloading, they're not going to stick with it very long.
