Thanks Joe for the report. Enjoyed the meeting too. As far as the slides for rmr, I would like to recommend instead the philosophy doc (https://github.com/RevolutionAnalytics/RHadoop/wiki/Philosophy) and the tutorial (https://github.com/RevolutionAnalytics/RHadoop/wiki/Tutorial). Besides the fact that, following Tufte's lead, I oppose the dissemination of knowledge in the form of slides, my slides are particularly incomplete and meaningless without my commentary. I put in the slides only what would be titles, figures and tables in a paper. I add some "incremental appear" animation to visually guide people to what I am talking about at a particular moment. That's my approach to presentations.
