Just to point out that the http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/R2wd/index.html can be also quite handy when it comes to tables and plots

This is great. Two observations though. The plots appear very blocky (low resolution) in the Word document. I wonder if there is a way to improve the quality. Perhaps a DPI setting in either R or Word?

The other thought is that we need to be able to incorporate common statistical output. Maybe others can contribute time to write functions for the output from lm() glm() xtab() and others.
