The scientific program for the DSC 2009 (Directions in Statistical Computing) conference has been announced. Lots of great R talks on the schedule: John Chambers (S and R pioneer) talking about developments in object-oriented programming in R; Deepayan Sarkar (author of the "lattice" graphics package) talking about a new graphics subsystem for R based on Qt; and Karim Chine talking about R on Amazon EC2. I'll be talking about a forthcoming Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for debugging in R. There's still time to register, if you're thinking about coming to Copenhagen!
