amer, a package adding the capability to fit generalized additive mixed models to lme4, was released.
ant, a package enabling ant to run R-based tasks, was released.
MICE, a package for imputing incomplete multivariate data, was updated to version 2.0.
MLCM, a new package providing functions for estimating perceptual scales by maximum likelihood from data collected in a conjoint measurement experiment, was released.
QCA, a package for Qualitative Comparative Analysis, has been updated to extend support from binary to multi-valued data.
RHIPE, a java package integrating R and Hadoop, has been updated to version 0.5.
rms replaces the Design package, and provides a variety of regression tools to accompany the book Regression Modeling Strategies.
sos replaces the RSiteSearch package and makes it easy to search the help of contributed packages.
survey, a package for the analysis of complex survey samples, has been updated with several improvements.
tikzDevice, a new package providing a new graphics device that outputs R graphics in a LaTeX-friendly way, was released.

The survey package has also been updated, but Typepad appears to have eaten my final draft of this post. I'll update it in a few hours (about to get on a flight).
