There's yet another R user group starting, this time in Singapore. Their first meetup is next week, on Wednesday August 25. If you're in Singapore, come along and meet your fellow R users!

Hi, I'd like to join the R User Group. I'm a Singaporean teaching statistics at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. R is the teaching software of my department. I'm very keen to perform data mining with R, and my research interests include finite-sample inference, beta regression, multi-levle data analysis, applied econometrics. I'm also the former president of SAS Users Group Association (Singapore) and the current president of the Stata Users Group (Asia). I do come home for holiday and work once or twice a year.
