This afternoon, the Revolution team was jolted by a minor (3.4 magnitude) earthquake at our Palo Alto offices. A startling jolt, nothing more. It did get me wondering how close the San Andreas fault was to our building, though. Not too far, as it turns out: this page at geology.com lets you follow the fault via Google Maps. Interesting to see how the terrain follows the fault ... and where it goes through built-up areas.
