In 2009, Google's chief economist Hal Varian said, "The sexy job in the next ten years will be statisticians.". Today, less than three years later, bit.ly's chief scientist (and inspirational data analyst) Hilary Mason tweeted this:
Glamour magazine, awesome! (Other articles in the current issue include, "What Sex Means to Men: 6 Deep, Dark Secrets" and "What your fave sex position says about you".) Hal Varian, you way over-estimated how long it would take statisticians to get their sexy on.
