Rose Hoffmann, AP Statistics teacher at Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, WI sent the following note to the Revolution Analytics team:
In August 2010, my husband who is a statistician attended the American Statistical convention. Your company gave out the flying monkey with a black cape ... He gave me the monkey since it was my first year teaching AP Statistics. It became our class mascot, our "Stats monkey". My students even named it. It helped them unstress before the AP test.
We were thankful to Rose for sharing such a heartwarming story, and we sent the class some gifts, including "I love R" T-shirts. Yesterday, in recognition of World Statistics Day, the class sent us the following photo:
(You can see Chebyshev the monkey in the picture.) Thanks for sharing, Rose, and to the classmembers: thanks for celebrating World Statistics Day, and good luck in your AP Statistics test!
where could a person get one of these shirt?

This world day only happens every five years according to the UN Statistics Commission: the first was last year, next one is for 2005...

@Julyan (typo !!!)
The Bureau of the Statistical Commission has recommended that World Statistics Day should be observed every five years. The next World Statistics Day will, therefore, be celebrated in 2015. The 2010 World Statistics Day was an overwhelming success. The Commission in its 43rd session in 2012 will give guidance on the organization of the 2015 celebration.
