Following a month of nominations and voting, Big Data Republic has announced the PeerIndex #BigData100, their list of the 100 most influential voices on Twitter on the topic of Big Data. Congratulations go to the list leader Tom Anderson (Anderson Analytics), who recently offered his own twist on Big Data: Mid Data.
I'm proud to have been included on a list with such respected names as Gregory Piatetsky (editor of KDnuggets), Carla Gentry (Data_Nerd), Ted Dunning (MapR and Mahout), Gil Press (Forbes), Hilary Mason (bitly), Ben Lorica (O'Reilly Radar), Alistair Croll (Strata) and many more leading voices in big data and data science than I can name here. The entire list makes for a great follow list for anyone on Twitter who wants to learn more about Big Data, and you can check out all 100 members of the #BigData100 at the link below.
