Great write up Joe! I'd like to see more bootstrap and general data skills taught in the stats curriculum as well. I'm a big fan of what Deb Nolan at Berkeley and Duncan Temple Lang at Davis have done with their computational stats classes for undergrads. Let's have more of that.
