Revolution R Open 8.0.2 is now available from MRAN. If you're already using Revolution R Open, you won't find any major changes. This release fixes a couple of bugs, includes a new version of the checkpoint package, and splits the installation into two parts on Windows and Linux (with a separate installer for the multithreaded MKL Math libraries, which are now optional). It also updates the default CRAN repository date to March 1, 2015 (and you can explore the new and updated R packages since the last RRO release).
Revolution R Open 8.0.2 uses the same R engine as the previous RRO release. We're currently testing RRO 8.0.3 featuring R 3.1.3, and it should be available soon. If you're waiting for RRO with an updated R engine, you might want to wait until RRO 8.0.3 is available. But if you haven't tried RRO yet, give it a go!
