KDnuggets is once again running its annual poll of data science software tools, now in its 16th year. If you'd like to participate, visit the KDnuggets poll page and answer the question, "What Predictive Analytics, Data Mining, Data Science software/tools you used in the past 12 months?". The poll allows you to select up to 20 tools from the following categories:
- Analytics / Data Mining Platforms / Suites
- Languages / low-level tools (including R)
- Deep Learning tools, and
- Hadoop-based Analytics-related tools
It's not clear when the deadline to enter is, but most KDnuggets polls run for 2-3 weeks with the results published soon thereafter. In last year's poll, RapidMiner was the most commonly-selected tool, followed closely by R. (This poll is not to be confused with the similar KDnuggets annual poll limited to languages only, "What programming/statistics languages you used for an analytics / data mining / data science work?" where R has garnered the top ranking for the last four years running.)
To vote in the poll, follow the link below. Note that you will need to provide a valid email address to confirm your vote (and prevent ballot-stuffing).
