It's hard to believe that it's more than 46 years since humans first landed on the moon. If the Apollo 11 mission were conducted today, video cameras would surely have documented every moment, but back in 1969 the primary form of documentation was in photos. Back in October, NASA released 13,000 images to the Project Apollo Flickr Archive (possibly to put to rest the persistent moon landing hoax claims, but more likely due to budget cuts). Now, photographer Chris Coupland has composed those photos with music to create this moving short film about the first moon landing. It's almost as good as having video from the original mission!
That's all for this week. Have a great weekend, and we'll be back on Monday.
