Microsoft R Open 3.2.3, the performance-enhanced distribution of R 3.2.3, is now available for download from mran.microsoft.com.
This is the latest (and first of many to come!) update to Revolution R Open under its new name. In addition to the improvements in R 3.2.3, this update to MRO brings support for Mac OS X "El Capitan" and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1, and is linked to a CRAN repository snapshot from January 1, 2016 that features dozens of new and updated packages.
As always, you can use the latest and greatest CRAN packages with MRO with the checkpoint package (and get reproducible R scripts with just one line of code, to boot). And to make it easier for you to pick a CRAN snapshot with the package versions you need, we have also introduced the CRAN Time Machine on MRAN where you can browse the contents of CRAN as they were on any date since September 17, 2014.
Use the calendar tool to browse our CRAN snapshot from a date of your choice, or use the drop-down tool to browse snapshots associated with prior releases of Microsoft R Open. This is particularly useful if you need to go back in time and check the details or vignettes from a package you've used in the past.

Have faced a problem during installation. I followed the 6-steps mentioned in the website for Windows installation. After launching Rgui.exe there was an error message telling '... msvcr120.dll is missing'. Am following a possible solution from Microsoft community at http://goo.gl/C16pRU but have not resolved it yet.

I figured out a solution here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaRCcByd1Hk
Keep in mind if you're on 64Bit machine paste the file to both system32 and SysWOW64.

Is there a reason that MRO 3.2.3 (and RRO 3.2.2) will not install the RevoMath lib on ubuntu 14.04? I thought it installed the lib when I installed RRO but I'm not sure not? Is the multi-threaded capability available in the Open Source versions of MRO and RRO? If so, how can I install them on ubuntu 14.04?
Thank you, Brian

Hi, Brian
MRO and and the MKL have two distinct installers. This means you have to download two files and install both, one after the other.
You can find installation instructions at https://mran.revolutionanalytics.com/documents/rro/installation/#revorinst-lin-steps
We test on Ubuntu 14.04 (among other platforms), so I hope the instructions work for you.
